Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

FOCUSNAUT (the “App”) is an iOS focus timer operated by Stanisław Jurkowski (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

2. Information stored only on your device

The App stores the following information locally on your iPhone so that it can remember your journey and preferences:

• the pilot name you enter during onboarding;
• whether you have completed onboarding;
• your current destination and focus journey progress;
• information used to determine when to request an App Store rating; and
• other basic app state and preferences.

We do not receive this locally stored information. It remains on your device and is generally removed when you delete the App. You can also control or remove this information using controls made available in the App, where applicable.

3. Purchases and RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management provider, to present purchase options, validate purchases, restore purchases, and determine whether Premium features should be available.

For these purposes, RevenueCat may process:

• an automatically generated anonymous App User ID;
• purchase and subscription history;
• product, entitlement, and transaction information;
• App Store receipt information needed to validate a purchase; and
• limited technical information such as app version, device platform, locale, and currency.

We use this information for app functionality, fraud prevention, customer support, and aggregate purchase analytics. We do not provide RevenueCat with your pilot name, email address, or a custom account ID. RevenueCat’s handling of information is also governed by its Privacy Policy.

4. Payments and Apple

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Apple may process purchase, account, device, and payment information according to Apple’s Privacy Policy.

5. Information we do not collect

The App does not collect or access:

• precise or approximate location;
• contacts, photos, calendars, or health information;
• microphone recordings;
• advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking; or
• biometric information such as Face ID or Touch ID data.

The pilot verification sequence shown in the App is a visual interaction only. It does not use Apple biometric APIs or read biometric data. The App may write a RevenueCat support identifier to your clipboard only when you explicitly choose to copy it; it does not read the contents of your clipboard.

6. Tracking and advertising

FOCUSNAUT does not contain third-party advertising and does not use your information to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. We do not sell your personal information.

7. How and why information is used

Information described in this policy is used to:

• operate the App and remember local progress;
• process, validate, manage, and restore purchases;
• unlock Premium features;
• prevent purchase fraud and resolve purchase-related support issues;
• understand aggregate subscription performance; and
• comply with legal obligations.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as necessary to provide the App and purchased features, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in securing and improving purchase functionality without overriding your rights.

8. Sharing

We share information only with service providers needed to operate purchases and the App, principally Apple and RevenueCat, or when required by law. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. We do not share information with advertising data brokers.

9. Retention

Local app information remains on your device until it is cleared through an available app control or the App is deleted. Purchase records may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat for as long as needed to provide purchase history, restore entitlements, prevent fraud, meet accounting obligations, and comply with law. Their specific retention practices are described in their respective privacy policies.

10. International processing

Apple and RevenueCat may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, they use safeguards intended to protect information transferred internationally.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of personal information, or to receive a portable copy. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Because FOCUSNAUT does not require an account and RevenueCat uses an anonymous identifier, include the Support ID shown in the App’s Settings when contacting us about purchase information. We may need additional information to verify and fulfill a request. Requests concerning your Apple Account or App Store payment information should be directed to Apple.

12. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

13. Security

We and our service providers use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, our service providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated in the App or by another appropriate method when required by law.
